This is a new and exciting opportunity for an RF IC Design Manager to join a leading satellite communications company based in the Thames Valley, UK. You will be taking on a technical leadership position and will also be responsible for leading a team of up to 8 RF IC Design Engineers

In this role you will be responsible for the leading chip developments and taking ownership, design and architecture of RF blocks. You will lead the layout activities and will also work on top level integration and optimisation of the chip. Other duties will include; building up the team to match with growth plans, resources allocation, mentoring, reporting to management and providing technical leadership to the team.

Industry degree qualified, the successful RF IC Design Manager will have established experience in RF IC Design in CMOS including some or all of the following; PLLs, clock generation, PA (power amplifiers), LNAs, Mixers Filters, VGAs, bandgaps, LDOs, voltage sensors. Experience with Cadence ADE and Matlab is also required for the position. Excellent communication skills in English and strong leadership skills are required.
