I am currently looking for a number of Senior Java Developers to work for an advanced AWS partnered consultancy that is highly recognised for the work that they do.
The Role:
Within this role you will be contributing to a vast and varied amount of projects using the latest technologies. You will be exposed to a number of greenfield projects and will be involved in challenges ranging from the development of the agile transformation of Global Oil pricing, interesting open source projects in the Public sector across to the rapid integration of apple payments systems of global banks.
Key Responsibilities:
Working on Greenfield projects you will be:Building solutions using industry best practice and employing your development expertise to assist in delivering quality solutions for our clientsYou will have the opportunity get involved in a range of disciplines, to further develop you as a multi-faceted technologistGiven direct access to our clients and will act as a subject matter expert within the development spaceWorking in an agile environment you will deliver rapid and responsive solutionsConstruction and testing of software components to a high standard within a teamBe creative and innovative when delivering high quality result and projectsWhat are we looking for? Strong passion for new technologiesDelivery FocusedAptitude to operate as a consultantComfortable operating in a range of client environmentsExposure to interactive/agile development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, DSDM, RUP and/or Kanban)Core TechnologiesStrong hands on of exposure or enterprise level JavaPrevious exposure to Full Stack DevelopmentHighly concurrent systems (multithreaded and/or distributed)Web / App containers such as Jetty, Tomcat, JBoss, WeblogicTest Driven DevelopmentHands-on skills in analysis, design, coding, and implementation of complex, custom-built applicationsSQL or NoSQL DatabaseWhat's in it for you?
