Software Delivery ManagerOur client, who have become genuine front-runners within their industry in recent times, is looking for an experienced Software Delivery Manager to join their team based in Winchester, on a permanent basis. The Software Delivery Manager will  manage the timely and high-quality delivery of software and supporting processes in accordance with agreed business objectives.Software Delivery Manager - Key Skills:

'€¢Industry experience of enterprise resource planning'€¢Experience of working in an organisation who utilises agile (scrum) or SAFe'€¢Industry and vocational experience of software development, business analysis and quality assurance'€¢Practical coaching experience'€¢Deep knowledge of software development, associated design and architectures and a direct background in software development.'€¢Experience of developing strategy with directors and board members would be advantageous'€¢Strong change governance methodologies'€¢Operational customer relationship management'€¢Deep knowledge of internet technologies, web design/deployment principles and hosting'€¢Insurance/Financial Services knowledge'€¢Strong planning methodologies and techniques

Software Delivery Manager - Responsibilities:

'€¢To manage and own the delivery schedules for all platforms under their remit, including where used the "Agile Release Trains" (part of the SAFe framework)'€¢To manage and own the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase of new features across all platforms under their remit'€¢Acting as a central point of liaison between developers, project managers and clients as a conduit for efficient and effective delivery'€¢Owning the feature delivery lifecycle to production across all divisions where initiated as part of the delivery cycle, including production of release notes where appropriate'€¢Controlling release schedules and annual release planning, assisting with the management of delivery'€¢Ensure adequate supply of resource across multiple scrum delivery teams ensuring we have the best operational delivery capability'€¢Reviewing KPIs around resource utilisation and ensuring the teams are focussed on time, cost and quality demonstrating increasing productivity over time'€¢Maintaining a clear view of supply and pre-emptively managing supply issues across all areas within their remit'€¢Ensuring industry best practices are utilised throughout the developer disciplines for effective delivery and working closely with the central software delivery process team to achieve this'€¢Effectively works with development and infrastructure teams to ensure all software releases are effectively change managed against fit for purpose release schedules'€¢Working closely with the central software delivery process team to achieve, establish and operate the management and governance of the department / discipline'€¢Working with all other teams and departments to ensure the goal of delivery is not artificially impaired'€¢Ad hoc duties relating to successful software delivery as directed by the line manager
