Electrical Project Engineer

Rail Contract - Canary Wharf

£280 - £320 per day

This is to work on a rail project in Canary Wharf, initially on a 3 month contract, with the opportunity for extension to work on other long-term projects after November if you are interested.

Main responsibilities

* Prepare risk assessments, method statements and all aspects relating to Health and Safety on site for Crossrail

* Liaise with the Crossrail to complete the assurance documentation

* Monitor and record progress on site against the construction programme.

* Ensure Crossrail quality procedures are followed and completed

* Produce ITP's, IRN's, PCC's, PAC, and AC's

* Work with the project manager and project teams to review and manage project from inception to handover.

* Undertake regular meetings with the client

* To liaise with the project manager and prepare the project close out report.

* In Liaison with the Project Manager ensure testing and commissioning is completed on a system by system basis.

* In Liaison with the project team, ensure that the systems approach to installation is maintained and tracked to completion.

* In Liaison with the project team, ensure that drawings are actively as-built and systems handover is accurately documented

Experience Required

* Detailed knowledge of the Engineering role.

* Health, Safety and Environmental systems and procedures.

* Rail experience.

* Assurance documentation experience.

* Ability to plan and programme work load.

* Prioritise and allocate time according to priority.

* Assess relative risk and allocate time accordingly.

* Effective communication skills.
