Senior Technical Delivery Manager 

Aldershot 

Up to £75,000 (DOE) + Car Allowance + Extensive Benefits Package 

Are you a Senior Delivery Manager with a software or application background? We have a position within our technical delivery team for a senior who can lead a matrix technical delivery team (incl. managers) and be an agile evangelist to get involved in global projects to implement and deliver best practice in Agile, SAFe and SaaS/PaaS/IaaS. This will involve programmes of work which will include workshops and planning across our global organisation. 

The Senior TDM will get involved in: 

- Full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, ensuring that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained. 

- Monitors and controls resources, revenue and capital costs against the project budget and manages expectations of all project stakeholders 

- To be the custodian for the delivery teams input to the Stage Gating process in order to achieve target percentage of first time passes 

- To ensure that change control is executed and administered correctly across all delivery teams, and that costs, timescales and resource budgets are signed off 

- To assemble, direct and motivate a successful team of TDMs through effective leadership 

- Leadership of multiple, multi-disciplined teams delivering technical solutions across a variety of platforms 

- To work with the Heads of Business within Engineering to drive change and improve efficiency across project deliveries and challenging unnecessary barriers to delivery 

- Project implementation and/or system integration techniques 

- Business change transitional programme from a Waterfall delivery method to an Agile one 

- Plan and manage the evaluation of software processes improvement activities 

- Promotes the benefits of addressing security during system development and applies secure development improvement practices 

- To liaise with internal stakeholders and to be a focal point for Engineering for Senior Management Steering Groups 

- To highlight any innovations, suggestions or projects which would improve efficiency, professionalism or profitability
