Are you a Technical Manager looking to stamp your mark on a market leading FMCG company that have always had quality at the forefront of their brand?

Do you want the chance to take a lead role, reporting directly to the CEO, where you will have the chance to work autonomously on interesting and technically challenging projects while leading your own team?

Established over 50 years ago, this company now represent a number of nationally recognised brands distributed across the UK and exported into Europe. They have built their success through long standing relationships with local suppliers and farmers and keeping the quality of their products at the heart of what they do. They supply to a number of the largest suppliers within the UK and are seeing on going sales growth. They are now looking to take on a Technical Manager to head up the Technical Department.

In this role the successful candidate will be responsible for leading the technical department. You will report directly to the CEO in this autonomous position whilst overseeing the Hygiene and Technical Managers. You will be required to take a lead role in all majoy audits as well as ensuring compliance with customer specifications and legislation.

The Role:

*Oversee the technical team, including quality and hygience

*Working with customers to ensure all products are compliant with legislation

*Lead all major audits

*Promoting food safety and quality standards throughout the company

The Person:

*Background as a Technical Manager

*FMCG experience - ideally short shelf life

*Experience of managing a team

*Lead Auditor experience
