EU Compliance Manager (Automotive industry)

£55000 per annum + 25 days annual leave, Tax free company car, 2nd car available at discounted rate, Bonus scheme, Medical and dental cover, and pension scheme

Do you have experience of working with EU compliance within the context of Cars, motorcycles or power equipment? Do you have a background in quality or chemical Engineering? My client are a leading automotive business. They are seeking a specialist EU compliance manager to lead a team of three specialists in ensuring adherence to EU legislation and assessing risk to the business surround this.
As such, the successful candidate will have compliance and risk experience across production of either, Cars Motorcycles or power equipment, experience managing a small team and qualifications or experience in Chemistry, materials, quality or a similar engineering discipline and be local to the Swindon area or be able to commute/relocate.

The role:
* Taking a proactive and strategic approach to minimise the impact of future legislation to the business
* Leading a team specialising in EU regulation and compliance and producing impact assessments to the business and risk to the business production and sales
* Supporting specific issue resolution through to completion
The person:
* Compliance and risk experience in regard to EU regulations across either Motorcycles, Cars or Power equipment
* Qualifications or experience in Quality, Chemistry or materials engineering or similar
* Excellent management skills and previous experience managing a small team
