Infrastructure Engineer (Cisco VMWare TCP/IP Windows ITIL). Would you like to work on complex and challenging systems as part of a supportive team with regular learning opportunities including ITIL certification?

As an Infrastructure Engineer at a global financial software house you will help develop, maintain and continuously improve both internal and client facing IT infrastructure encompassing servers, storage, networks and telecoms systems. You'll research and identify the best technology options for the delivery infrastructure; design the architecture of the required infrastructure solution; manage the deployment, maintenance and upgrade paths of the infrastructure and partner with the Application Support team in dealing with critical incidents in the Manager Service environment.

Requirements:

*Strong knowledge / experience with the following: managing and troubleshooting networks (Cisco CCNP desirable); managing VMWare / vSphere environment (SRM desirable); designing and managing Active Directory; Automation using Powershell and Linux shell scripting

*Understanding of fundamental computer architecture, TCP/IP networking, server virtualisation, storage and operating system concepts

*Knowledge of ITIL, aptitude and desire to learn more

*Degree educated; technical, scientific or engineering discipline
