Role: NetApp Consultant

Location: Sheffield

Duration: 6 months

Our client requires a junior level Netapp Consultant to work on a global data migration program. They need 2-3 years experience with NetApp and experience handling platform migrations.

Summary:

* NetApp Consultant having expertise to execute end-to-end migration activity on NetApp devices

* Configure target NetApp hardware and software products including storage pre-installation activities

* Populate data ownership information

* Validate data owners

* Escalate ownership gaps and non-standard storage requirements

* Use migration tools and processes to support migration runbook and migration event

* Lead end-to-end migration event execution, coordinating with application teams and shared service teams, providing recommendation on storage tasks and data items

* Handover storage tasks to application teams and/or shared service teams while bringing closure to a migration event

* Facilitate demise of old NetApp device following applicable guidelines.

Key Skills: Prior experience in handling end-to-end migration in NetApp platform
