CWA are an exciting and firmly-established marketing communications agency based in Glenfield, Leicester. We work across a range of communication channels including print, digital, video, PR and live events to deliver strategically integrated campaigns to a range of high-profile blue-chip clients. We are also recognised within the industry for the great care with which we handle our clients and employees alike.

We are currently looking to recruit a talented and experienced Email Process Developer to join our team. The role will support our largest and most successful global client in the implementation and delivery of Pan-European email marketing campaigns and requires advanced email coding knowledge and skills.

Candidates will need to be creatively and technically minded and driven to produce high-quality emails as part of a fast-paced, client-responsive team. Although there will be a strong support structure, we are looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one. They must demonstrate initiative to make informed decisions and to be accountable for them.

Key accountabilities:

                               Build HTML emails for deployment in MailChimp and Salesforce - this will account for approximately 40% of workload.

                               Continue development and email deployment on custom Salesforce integration - this will account for approximately 40% of workload.

                               Update and work within WordPress websites.

                               Participate in development processes from specification and design through build to testing, release and maintenance.

Knowledge/experience/skills:

                               3+ years industry experience.

                               Good foundation in PHP and MySQL programming skills.

                               Experience with front end web languages - HTML, CSS, JavaScript.

                               It would be desirable to have understanding of version control systems but not essential as training will be given.

                               Developer testing and QA of own work. Excellent attention to detail is vital.

                               Carrying out research and development on a variety of topics, scoping of work

                               Documenting processes

                               Making amends to existing HTML emails

                               Creating and amending wireframes

                               Good understanding of best practice email design principles

                               Strong communication and collaboration skills

                               Reliable time management skills, with an ability to juggle more than one project at a time.

                               An awareness of industry trends, particularly regarding accessibility, usability, and email client developments.

                               A very good standard of written and spoken English.

                               The ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
