This exciting up and coming brand licensed merchandise retailer is looking to recruit a Senior Applications Developer.

Key Responsibilities and Accountability:

The right candidate will be responsible for the developing and maintaining the companies BI (Business Intelligence), Applications for website and internal systems. They will be supported by an IT Administrator as well as working with owners to build the overall IT strategy and deliver on agreed initiatives.

Specific Responsibilities and Accountability;

- Support the technical relationship management between IT systems providers Linnworks, Peoplevox, Qlik Sense and other technical third parties ensuring stability, evaluation and integration of improvements, following up and addressing service level issues putting in prevention methods were applicable.

- For developing existing ASP.NET based applications used to integrate data on an in-house SQL database, being the technical lead for the business, a competent coder.

- For developing business Shopify store either through third party applications or built in house.

- For developing business reporting on the Qlik Sense (BI) platform. Building reports, making sure accurate and enabling staff to build their own in Qlik where applicable.

- To mentor and developing existing staff.

- Minimising single a point of failure of in-house applications through proper documentation, code commenting and having in place a third party who can support when development spikes are needed

- Provides proper testing procedures and improves accuracy of any system automation that is put in place.

- Responsible for IT compliance's around data security and disaster recovery.

- Drives continual improvements to make business more efficient.

- Organising and using third parties to support new features and developments such as the integrations of new stores.

- For all office IT in the business including PCs, mobile devices used in warehouse, printers, network, servers, back ups etc.

Role Requirements:

- Least 2-3 years' experience in a similar role

- Familiar and used business intelligence software preferably Qlik Sense and Qscript

- Highly competent coder in ASP.NET C#, SQL, HTML, CSS and JavaScript

- Great for someone who wants to take the next step

- Clear communicator

- Highly organised

- Knowledge of GDPR, Data Protection and other compliance standards

- Flexible and works well with others, happy to get hands on and delegating to others
