C++ Developer / Software Engineer (Mathematics Science OOP C++ PhD Python). Would you like to work on complex and interesting software within a flexible, informal, multi-cultural, R&D environment with a real focus on training and development and core hours of 1030-1530?

Scientific software house is seeking a highly numerate C++ Developer. Joining a talented team of PhD educated individuals you will design and develop an advanced modelling technology for the process industries including power, biochemical and pharmaceutical.

As a C++ Developer you will work across the full development lifecycle on the flagship product; partnering with mathematicians to elicit requirements for new algorithms, process operations solutions or for the extension of existing systems. You'll contribute to architecture and design and develop reusable, high availability software components and high performance computer algorithms at the brink of science and engineering knowledge.

Requirements:

*Strong C++ development experience

*Strong Applied Mathematics / Numerical Analysis (e.g. linear / non-linear algebraic systems, computational fluid dynamics CFDs, distributed computation, data-driven modelling, machine learning)

*Familiar with Agile development processes

*Ability to translate requirements into technical specifications

*Good communication skills, collaborative team member

*Excellent academics, must have PhD: Mathematics, Physics, Aerospace, Engineering, Computer Science preferred
