Trainee CAM Programmer

Dorking, Surrey

Circa £30,000 - £40,000 + Progression + Training + Benefits

This market leading company specialise in the manufacture of high precision parts for a range of industries. They have just won a number of huge contracts with blue chip clients and as a result are looking for an additional CAM Programmer to join their team.

This role will be office based where you will translate the customers CAD designs into CNC programmes as well as liaising with the quality, planning and production departments. You will receive specialist training as well as the opportunity to progress into a planning/production management role

The ideal candidate will have experience as a CAM Programmer using either Autodesk HSM or EdgeCAM. Any experience of milling/turning would be beneficial.

The Role:

* Trainee CAM Programmer

* Translate CAD designs into CNC Programmes

* Liaising with quality/production/planning departments

* Progression into supervisory and management positions

The Person:

* Must have experience using at least one CAM software

* Must be looking to further develop a career within the industry
