Our award winning digital team are looking for another creative digital evangelist. You will join a team responsible for the development and build of the University’s external digital footprint and will support both student recruitment and developing the Leeds Beckett brand online. A consummate programmer, you will also bring a creative flair and an understanding of user experience development.

With demonstrable skills in developing websites, content templates and digital platforms, you will be fluent in C# .NET, with an understanding of other languages and be able to apply yourself and pick up new platforms and methodologies. You will be comfortable working in an Agile project management environment. Experience is beneficial but more important is drive, enthusiasm and flair and we would be happy to receive applications from recent graduates. We use the Sitecore CMS for development and management of our sites, so experience of that platform would be an advantage but full training will be given, if needed.

In return, you will work in a fast-paced and creatively stimulating environment and join a nationally recognised digital team, who are pushing the sector’s boundaries. Working alongside content writers, SEO experts, digital marketers and UX designers, you will be able to influence our next generation of websites and mobile platforms. You will also get the opportunity to join the team in developing campaigns, building chat bots, developing games, recruiting students, developing voice activated apps, sending out out for Five Guys burgers, winning awards, debating the Marvel Universe, carving pumpkins, and we might even need you to dress in the Beckett Bear mascot costume… And then, in the second week you’ll really get the chance to do some outside-of-the-box stuff…

Closing date: 5 November 2018 (midnight). Please note that you will not be able to edit or submit a part-completed application form after the closing date.

For further information and to apply please visit our website by clicking the APPLY button.

Working here means you’ll also have access to a wide range of benefits including our generous pension schemes, excellent holiday entitlements, flexible working, reduced study fees, subsidised fitness facilities and a lot more.

We welcome applications from all individuals and particularly from black and minority ethnic candidates as members of these groups are currently under-represented at this level of post. All appointments will be based on merit.
