Java Developer (Agile TDD Scrum SpringBoot Java 8). Global games software house is seeking a senior hands-on Java Developer to join an Agile team of cross functional software developers and QAs. You'll work across the full development lifecycle of n-tier Java applications producing high quality, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, working closely with the Scrum Master to encouraging Agile working practices.

You'll be working with a range of modern technology including Java 8, SpringBoot, Docker, GoCD, Apigee, Ansible, React JS, Google Cloud Platform and will have the opportunity to use Kubernetes and Kafka going forward.

Fantastic offices based in a vibrant area of Central London with breakout areas, pool table, console games, fully stocked kitchen and flexible working hours.

Requirements:

*Strong core Java server-side development skills

*Containerisation and Orchestration experience (Docker, Kubernetes)

*Messaging experience (e.g. Apache Camel, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ)

*Kafka experience or desire to learn

*Advocate of Agile development methodologies and tools: Scrum, TDD, Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment, Sonar

*Good knowledge of SpringBoot

*Good knowledge of microservices, DevOps mindset, experience AWS infrastructure

*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
