The Job

Acting as Deputy to the Tanker Pool Supervisor you will manage the smooth running of Aviation Fuelling operations and the day to day tasks that come alongside this.

You will be responsible for accurately carrying out the fuel and vehicle quality checks and ensuring these standards are met and upheld at all time.

You will also take responsibility for the Operations team ensuring they meet their daily tasks and that all training is kept up to date

Key Accountabilities

You will be responsible for:

* Keeping records of all fuelling requests, allocating them to the appropriate team and responding to the request in an effective and timely manner

* Complete timesheets, manage leave, sickness and lateness for the operations team

* Manage the elements of potential risks that fuelling activities may have on the delivery of aircraft trials

* Undertake daily vehicle inspections, addressing faults with urgency to ensure minimal impact on daily operations

* Maintain aviation fuel quality by ensuring all operative quality assurance procedure are adhered to

Knowledge, Skills and Experience:

* Knowledge and experience of Aviation fuel quality procedures and processes

* Achieve and maintain a minimum of ADR Class 3 in tanks and a driving license with C+E licensing

* A strong ability to operate all fuel quality assurance equipment such as Hydrometer, water detection capsules and fuel temperature correction tables

* Excellent communication skills to ensure strong relationships are built across all levels (both written and verbal)

* Excellent organisation skills

* A strong aptitude for IT programmes
