Senior Security Analyst / SITSA/ CREST / SANS / CISSP / IT Security / Risk Analysis / Threat analysis/mitigation - Manchester - up to 60k

My client is looking for a technical Security analyst with of 5 years' experience and a keen passion for IT security, sociable, motivated and a happy to share your It Security Knowledge.

You will have an in depth technical knowledge of networks, infrastructure, full windows stack, Linux / mac, databases, web development and applications.

The role

Working closely with the head of IT security you will improve the IT Security functions. You also will hunt, analyse, mitigate and resolve threats across the business.

You will also produce reports, develop security responses, test and refine functions. Implement and maintain security as well and provide support to staff members, and mentor junior security team members.

Skills

*Minimum of 5 years' experience within IT Security

*CREST / SANS / CISSP certifications

*Use a multiple IT security skills to perform analysis

*Strong understanding of TTP's

*Strong Understanding of IT infrastructure, networking database and Web applications

*Experience in penetration testing

*Good understanding of Microsoft, VMWARE, CISCO, MDM and SQL

*Understanding of ISO27001 / GDPR / PCI:DSS

*Experian in Disaster recovery

*Good written and verbal communication skill
