Role: Network Support Team Manager

Position: Permanent

Location: Salford

Salary: £47,000

My client is a global leader in manufacturing. They are looking for a Network Support Team Manager to join the company and lead the IT Team. This is a hands on role, managing a small team of infrastructure specialists. You will be responsible for managing the UK and US team members, providing support to all sites and remote users globally.

The be successful with this role you will come from a technically strong 3rd line background.

Responsibilities:

* Develop, communicate and implement organisational IT strategy which includes setting up a shared / managed service function

* Develop, lead and manage the IT team to ensure they can support the IT strategy

* Manage the delivery of day to day IT services, balancing speed and quality of delivery with a commercial approach

* Control SOX framework to ensure all risks are managed and audits are passed.

Experience required:

* Team leader experience

* SOX and compliance guidelines

* Windows server environments

* Experience with citrix, routers, switches and Active directory

* Understanding of LAN, Firewall and Virtual environments
