IT Systems Engineer

Leatherhead, Surrey (office/field based, covering the South East)

Up to £40,000 Plus Pension, Business Mileage & Expenses, 25 Days’ Holiday, 5 days’ Annual Training Allowance, Laptop

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an IT Systems Engineer to join a leading technology provider in Leatherhead.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you’ll be tasked with designing and delivering a range of IT infrastructure and security solutions throughout the South East.

Utilising an analytical approach, you’ll deliver a number of projects for a variety of schools, colleges and universities. Additionally, you’ll provide third line technical support to customers and swiftly troubleshoot any issues.

To be considered, you must have one or more of the following:

- Proven experience in network design, configuration and installation

- Microsoft Server, VMware, Hyper-V deployment and support experience

- Good cybersecurity, firewall and content filtering knowledge

The product portfolio includes: Ruckus, Brocade, CISCO, HP, Extreme, Juniper, DELL, EMC, Microsoft and VMware.

As an IT Systems Engineer, you must have a strong customer-focus and a logical approach to problem-solving. Excellent prioritisation and planning skills are also key, as is a team player mentality.

Due to the requirements of this role, candidates must live within a commutable distance of Leatherhead where the company is headquartered.

A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle is a pre-requisite.
