Service Operations Manager
A new opportunity has arisen for a Service Operations Manager to join this UK-owned market leader within its field, where you will be responsible for ensuring that service levels from offshore providers meet SLA's whist continuously improving for the benefit of our customers. This is a managerial role, including man-management of the Incident & Problem Management Team, and direct management of the Service Desk and Multi-Channel Service Centre.
This is a hugely varied role in which the successful Service Operations Manager will work cross-functionally whilst having complete accountability of any outsourced managed service or offshore providers, and will truly make a difference within this well-respected brand.
Working as a key Service Operations Manager within this reputable UK-based organisation you will be responsible for:
* Delivering (and designing) the best service solutions for Managed Service customers.
* Manage all offshore partners and service provisions, whilst working closely with the business, key stakeholders, vendors and other members of the IT team, including very senior members of staff. Cross-functional working and man-management is key.
* Turn services around at times, and manage transformation.
* Work to ITIL standards / best practices.
To be considered, your experience will include:
* Strong managed service management skills, managing a range of offshore partners and service providers within a large scale environment.
* Transformation and transition experience is preferred; examples of turning an offshore service around
* Man management experience and ownership of budgets
* Strong ITIL knowledge
* Excellent communication / relationship building skills, including engaging with senior stakeholders and working across an entire business with various teams
* Any industry experience in either retail or airline is beneficial

Salary: £75k - £90k + bonus + excellent benefits (depending on experience)
