Java Developer (RESTful API's)

Gloucester - £300 - £400 per day

Pearson Frank are currently working in partnership with an End User client who are looking for a Developer who is availabel ASAP on an initial 3- 6 month contract with possible extensions.

An overview of the role is below, if you are interested please respond with your desired daily rate and an up to date CV;

· Experience of the whole software development process

· Significant and demonstrable experience of Java 7 or higher, to produce RESTful APIs to be consumed by other systems or components

· Understand design and user experience principles

· Understanding of separations of concern in software using multi-tier strategies

· Ability to support web-based systems built using JavaScript / ASP.Net / MVC / C# as part of a migration strategy (Desirable)

· Experience of Microsoft Azure or Amazon Web Services (Desirable)

· Is extremely client-focused and understands the need for intuitive and user-focused applications - focus on simplicity and ease-of-use
