WIFI Test Analyst

London

SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain SC is required for this role

The test analyst will be responsible for test preparation, execution and reporting. Able to plan own work and engage with internal technical teams, stakeholders and customers - escalating to the test lead for assistance if required. Uses skills and experience to ensure that testing makes the best possible contribution to the quality and efficiency of deliveries to the client:

* Test prep and execution of releases across the programme in accordance with testing plans and agreed governance procedures.

* Engaging in any required discussions with internal stakeholders and supporting the test lead when dealing with customers.

* Assist test lead with resource forecasting.

* Defect and issue management.

* Stakeholder management at project level.

* Process and Quality improvements (within own team) and promotion of improvements across the wider test team.

* First point of contact in supporting issue resolution in own work area.

* Project level reporting.

* Creation and ownership of testing collateral.

* Assist the test lead with effort estimation of new testing requests.

* Occasionally cover for the test lead (Annual leave etc).

Skills / Experience

* Wifi testing experience is highly desirable

* Be accredited in Software Testing by either Information Systems Examination Board (ISEB) or International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB)

* Previous test analyst experience.

* Strong test based analytical skills.

* Takes an autonomous approach to work with only limited guidance required
