Migration Architect - 6 Months - Manchester
My client, a large technology and outsourcing organisation are looking for 2 Migration Architects to assist with a large scale project taking place in Manchester. The roles can offer a competitive daily rate and the client are looking to get people started immediately.
Role Background:
* The estate is made up of legacy applications and a wide range of tools so the client are looking for a range of individuals to join them.
Required Skills:
* Experience of infrastructure transformation programmes including public and private cloud adoptions, including actual migration and transition from existing operating model to target operating model.
* Exposure to a range of legacy applications and tools would be of interest.
* Strong knowledge and experience of infrastructure design.
* Strong knowledge of Linux, Unix and Windows Operating Systems.
* Strong stakeholder management and communication skills required.
* Experience of working with and managing teams both onshore/ offshore.
* Prior experience of large migration projects is essential, ideally within the Public Sector.
* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a BPSS process prior to going on site.
