Mechanical Design Engineer - Catia - Somerset  Rate: £30 - £35 per hour Length of contract - 6-12 Months A brand new requirement working within the Research & Development team has been released from my client in Somerset. You'll be involved with the design, development and introduction of new sophisticated high-tech product for a long term project.You will be undertaking technical research, including competitor analysis to support the design, development and manufacture of products.We are ideally looking for someone with the following experiences;-          CAD experience using Catia V6 (Would consider candidates with V5)-          Strong electromechanical background-          Sheet metal-          Full life cycle-          DFM-          Smarteam (Advantageous)The search for this role has already been put in motion, and interviews are being set up this week.
