Security Architect - Cardiff - 6 Month Contract

My client, a large technology and outsourcing organisation are looking for a number of Security Architects to join them on site in Cardiff providing services to a large customer. The role will be full time on site and can offer a competitive daily rate.

Role Background:

* Complete responsibility for technical input to qualification and business approval meetings, designing larger more complex solutions.

* Defines the approach to larger/more complex solution development and acceptance testing, controlling technical scope and the work of the design team in order to ensure an acceptable cost structure.

* Establishes customer requirements for a solution building strong relationships and acting as a major influence in the customer working with the client.

* Contributes to definition of customers' overall IT architecture, designing new solutions of significant size and complexity, and can manage the work of specialists contributing to the design and implementation.

Required Skills:

* My client are looking for candidates to assist with the design on a number of complex solutions for a range of end customers.

* The role will involve identifying, designing and the delivery of complex architectures, strategies and specific solutions.

* Key technical skills for this role will include demonstrable knowledge and experience in the following areas:

* Firewalls - Checkpoint/Fortigate/Palo Alto/ Juniper

* IDS/IPS

* RAS

* Cloud - Security Tooling (Azure/AWS/VMware)

* Candidates should also be eligible and willing to undergo a vetting process prior to going on site.
