Hardware Engineer / Electronics Design Engineer / Electronics EngineerTitle: Hardware EngineerLocation: Derbyshire/Staffordshire/CheshireSalary: Up to £60,000 + benefitsReporting to the Hardware Team LeaderA close client of mine who produce state of the art frequency and timing products used in the IoT, Autonomous vehicles and 5G technology markets are now looking to bring in a Hardware Engineer to assist with the design and development of their calibration and testing equipment as they are reaching a tremendously exciting phase in development.The Hardware Engineer will need to be used to working to strict time scales, on budget and to the required specification. The successful engineer will also take part in drawing up the hardware requirements specification and system architecture.Hardware Engineer Essential Skills:

'€¢PCB Design - Altium Designer'€¢Experience with Analogue/Digital/RF Circuit Design'€¢Create hardware based on FPGAs and or microcontrollers'€¢Familiar with developing associated circuitry (DDR4, USB, SDRAM, Gigabit Ethernet)'€¢Experience with communication protocols (I2C, SPI, CAN2.0)

Hardware Engineer Desirable Skills:

'€¢Ability to write in C'€¢FPGA development based on Verilog or VHDL.'€¢Knowledge of LabVIEW & Matlab
