Technical Support Consultant - Stockport - £45,000

This Technical Support role will see you working for a Microsoft Gold Partner to help support their clients on their hosted CRM and ERP solutions. You will be expected to give high level support to end users, identify and resolve issues which will include working with database and virtualisation technologies.

You will be expected to have a good understanding across all the technologies required however there will be training given as this client are fully aware that their staff are vital to the business and are happy to invest the time and energy to keep your skill set updated.

Responsibilities:

*Act a escalation of support quires working with internal and external clients.

*Perform SQL DBA work covering performance tuning, problem solving, back-ups.

*Virtualisation of servers using VMWare or Hyper-V.

*Documentation and reports on system performance.

Experience:

*Carried out basic SQL DBA tasks

*Worked with VMWare or Hyper-V

*Implementation of ERP / CRM Systems

*Strong communication skills

*Attention to detail and strong communication skills

This role will allow you to work for an established IT service provider where you will be able to test your support skills whilst being able to expand and grow your knowledge in these and new technologies.
