ServiceNow ITOM Technical Consultant

5 month (possibility of hire) - Contract

100% On-Site

Seeking an experience ServiceNow delivery consultant that can be apart of a fast-growing company. The position requires the consultant to deliver current services, as well as, grow the service delivery capabilities within the company.

Job Description:

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills

- Support the development and growth of the services delivered

- Develop custom software solutions as required through scripting and software development

- install, configure, and integrate software products from ServiceNow (focusing on the ITOM-based products - Service Mapping, Discovery, Configuration Management, and Event Management)

- Enhance customers knowledge in ITOM with ITIL V3 framework

Qualifications:

- ServiceNow experience with discovery, service mapping, and configuration management (CMDB)

- Accreditations / certifications in ServiceNow System Administrator and products such as Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM are preferred

- Expertise and experience with ServiceNow ITOM products required

- Experience in multiple application architectures and supporting technologies

- Expertise with scripting languages such as Perl, JavaScript, Python, or Shell.

- Web service proficiency (REST, SOAP) as well as XML and JSON knowledge

- Thorough knowledge and/or experience working with Operating Systems (Linux, Windows)

- Knowledge of networking concepts such as IP Addressing, Firewalls, ports

- Knowledge of relational databases (MySQL, MSSQL, Oracle).

- ITIL knowledge with the ability to relate concepts to implementation strategies.

- Excellent communications skills required - verbally with all levels of customer IT and business management as well as written with technical assessments and project related reports.

- Consultative skills for software service delivery to lead customers to improve their processes and organizational models.

- ITIL/CMDB implementations (CCMDB, UCMDB, ect)

- IT Operations experience in storage, network, and compute of enterprise environments.

- AMZN API, VMware automation, Puppet/Chef/Ansible, integration & automation expertise with orchestration

- Service oriented and distributed application architecture in the enterprise (web services, data access and persistence, client/server, etc)

- Cloud Management Platforms such as AWS, VMware, BMC, etc.
