IT Business Transformation Consultant - London - 6 months - Market Rates

Nigel Frank are working alongside a leading global IT consultancy who are currently searching for a Service Architect to join their end client, an Infrastructure & Cloud Hosting Services Consultancy. This will be for an inital 6 months contract in central London.

Position Overview:

The IT Business Transformation Consultant will work with the client's customer base to advise on infrastructure consolidation, transformation, and optimization of dedicated and multi-cloud environment through working closely with senior leadership as well as key technical personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

* Work with clients to define, develop and deliver their IT strategy through all stages of implementation, including developing business cases and roadmaps for transformation.

* Responsible for the design and planning of IT operational transformation projects, through the coordination of the IT Operational Change Managers who are responsible for the day to day project delivery and governance.

* Develop and ensure delivery of multiple projects and working on high impact, complex and challenging programmes.

* Responsible for defining the clients targeted business outcomes and defining the blueprint to achieve them.

* Support the sales team to identify and develop business opportunities, both within the existing work scope and more widely in a presales environment.

* Utilize strategic, highly consultative framework with large, complex customers and prospects.

* Work closely with Business Consulting team and the rest of group change, along with data and solution architects. Required to provide support, governance and oversight to architects embedded in change programs across the client base.

Skills, Knowledge and Experience required

* Worked in an IT Management position for over 15 years running large work streams, teams or services

* Proven experience of working with ITIL aligned processes

* Excellent core consulting skills including:

* Experience developing executive communications and able to communicate effectively with clarity and precision in both written and verbal capacities

* Extensive supplier management experience to frame consumption of cloud service vendors.

* You will have exceptional organisational skills, diplomacy, and ability to work in a constantly evolving and demanding environment.

* You will be pro-active, adaptable, and able to work under pressure.

* Ability to communicate effectively with IT professionals specializing in Cloud platforms or DC Operations.

* Experience with public cloud solutions across Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) and Infrastructure-as-a-Service (IaaS).

* Experience of working in a Global Infrastructure environment

* Requirements gathering, problem solving, maturity assessment and gap analysis

* Communication and presenting with impact

* Stakeholder management (CIO, CTO and senior divisional management inside and outside of IT)
