Digital Business Analyst - Sales / Service

Location: London

Duration: 3 Months (Extensions likely)

Our client has an exciting position for two motivated and energetic Digital Business Analyst's to join the Digital team in London to work on their Sales and Services Projects.

The Business Analyst will be responsible for managing the definition and delivery of major online and digital functionality to provide services for customers to use on their website and the advisors through the new interface for service transactions. The role will have a special emphasis on delivering an exciting new commercial project to market and ensuring that all of their service capabilities across customer, advisor and app are ready to support it.

This will involve the translation of high level business requirements, process, commercial and non-functional requirements into low level features and user stories that deliver with high quality and realise robust and measureable business targets driving delivery of major new features in their new products. This will also involve working in waterfall with enterprise architects to ensure architecture enables our experiences, working with user experience designers to come up with brilliant, achievable experiences for the client's customers and working in agile as the product owner of front end and full stack scrum teams to build these products for their customers and agents.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES / SKILLS

* User story's and acceptance criteria writing. The Digital Business Analyst will be responsible for collaboratively fleshing out the detail of high level business requirements and creating a backlog of detailed feature requirements that underpin the solution and user experience

* Working with UX teams to create high quality deliverables. The Digital Business Analyst will have demonstrable past experience of being the business analyst on projects, working with the UX team and ensuring solutions are fit for purpose and deliver the best possible experience to the clients customers and agents.

* Understanding of solution architecture: The Digital Business Analyst will be able to represent the business and UX teams while engaging with the technical development and architecture teams to find the best solution. An understanding for the technology and architecture driving the experience will be needed to deliver the best result.

* Experience in agile and waterfall. Experience being able to work with scrum teams using agile methodologies is crucial, including backlog definition and prioritisation, defining sprint outcomes and measuring success and improvement, while still being able to also deliver quality in waterfall methods for other components.
