Test AnalystA global software solutions organisation in Birmingham are looking for a Test Analyst to join a talented engineering team to help develop a framework and analytical applications. The Test Analyst will be a creative and innovative automation engineer who brings new ideas from areas including UI design, mobile, data storage, networking, distributed computing, data processing.The Test Analyst will be joining a cross functional team to work closely with architects and management. They are adopting automation techniques such as continuous delivery and TDD / BDD.Test Analyst Role:The Test Analyst will be part of an innovative and creative work environment where they will receive a comprehensive induction and be supported to carry out your role and to progress within the company. '€¢To develop and maintain automation tests on web and mobile platforms'€¢Design, develop, execute and maintain test cases covering all aspects of the software'€¢Maintaining, running and enhancing automation testing'€¢To run tests under Jenkins (continuous integration server)'€¢Scheduling project work to meet fluctuating needs and requirements'€¢To create and execute automation test cases covering both sanity and in depth testing'€¢Provide supporting documentation in accordance with the software development processes and codes of practice.'€¢Communicate with internal and external users to provide software and technical support.'€¢Be creative in identifying opportunities for improved productivity, efficiency and quality'€¢Precisely recording outputs and logging defects with precision

Test Analyst Qualifications:

'€¢Degree (or equivalent) in a Computing, Computer Science or IT related subject.'€¢Previous technical and software testing experience'€¢2+ years industry automation Test Analyst experience using Selenium with Java'€¢Previously worked with Appium'€¢Strong communication skills'€¢Are passionate about software testing which you can clearly convey by your actions and experiences'€¢Are able to work under your own guidance'€¢And have excellent communication and decision-making skills
