Our client has a unique opportunity for a Business Analyst who wants to gain experience with modern technologies and join a friendly team working in a cool part of London.

Our client, works with financial and economic data. They are one of the key providers of quality and accurate security reference data internationally. They require a UK Business Analyst contact in their UK office.

Responsibilities:

* Acting as Liaison with the Delivery Team for the Products (Operations and Infrastructure Teams)

* Work along side with the Development Team to ensure Data quality and performance targets are met

* Create Product Requirements and potential New Features by gathering and analysing information from both clients and from other both the Teams

* Process Mapping

* Producing Weekly Project Reports for the Management team

Required Skills and Competencies:

* Candidates must have knowledge of financial reference data, including sourcing data from prime sources.

* Demonstrable experience with Market Data product definitions, in particular securities and entity reference data including corporate action

* Experience of requirements gathering and use case definition

* Financial markets experience, including understanding of global securities identifiers such as ISIN codes, FIGI codes, Sedol and US codes

* Experience in Business Analysis, Project Planning, Risk Analysis, Process Mapping, and User Acceptance Testing

* Ability to work with and manage a large quantity of data

* Attention to detail

* Delivery to timescale within given tasks; flexible and adaptable to approach to tasks, accuracy, and speed within a fast-paced environment
