Application Support Specialist - SC Cleared

Spring Technology currently have an opportunity to work for a large public sector organisation based in Milton Keynes, looking for an Application Support Specialist/3rd Line Support Engineer to work on an initial 3 month contract starting as soon as possible. The client are looking for the successful candidate to be SC Cleared, it would be advantageous if you hold this clearance already.

The Role

The role will involve day-to-day delivery of support services in accordance with SLAs, resolving incidents/problems which have been escalated from within the Service Desk. The officer will be required to file a comprehensive record of actions taken and solutions found. The officer will be integrated with the Service Desk to provide high quality performance to customers and end-users.

Skills and experience required

* MS MCDBA / MS Windows MCITP / MS Sharepoint MCITP

* Experience of technologies in an enterprise environment.

* MS Windows 2008/2012/2016 Server,

* MS SharePoint 2007/2010/2013

* SQL 2008R2/2012/2016

* IIS

* Active Directory GP OU and configuration and permissions of user and workstation, Servers.

* MS Windows.

* Linux

* VM Ware

* Experience of Virtual Environments

* Knowledge of ITIL V3.

* Knowledge of IT Service Management toolsets i.e. Service Now
