Our client is looking for a Service Delivery Manager to take full responsibility for the definition, documentation and successful completion of complex projects, with significant business, political, or high-profile impact, and high-risk dependencies. You will ensure that realistic project, quality, change control and risk management processes are maintained, whilst monitoring and controlling resources, revenue and costs against a defined project budget and the expectations of all stakeholders. You will be responsible for the business relationship with one or more clients, developing opportunities and managing the implementation of services changes. You will assess, analyse and develop documents and implement changes based on requests for change and implement plans for dealing with more complex requests for change whilst evaluating risks to integrity of infrastructure inherent in proposed implementations. You will be responsible for management of developing and implementing the solutions in terms of data integration, data processing, analytics and data visualization. You will be comfortable developing a holistic approach to the management, processing, integration and analysis of data. The role will require regular travel between their offices and client sites but will predominantly be based out of the Exeter office.

The right candidate will be degree qualified possessing a Project Management qualification. It would be advantageous if you have demonstrable experience in managing the implementation of Data driven IT projects having worked in PRINCE2 and Agile principles, with the ability to work using appropriate project management methodologies. It would also be advantageous if you have experience in delivering software development projects through an application development lifecycle and that you understand Java programming concepts and terminology. That said, we are willing to consider a capable individual who could possibly develop into this role. Given the nature of this role, you must possess compelling leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and teams.
