Graduate AI Consultant / Technology Research & Development Consultant

One of our global consulting and professional services company in the energy and utilities sector clients is seeking 2x Graduate AI Consultants to join their rapidly expanding teams based in the West Midlands. This is an exciting opportunity for a graduate to develop and pursue a career within exciting and emerging technologies, such as; Artificial Intelligence, IoT and robotics.

You will play an active role assisting the business with forecasting industrial and consumer changes, shaping the business to develop new business ideas and stay ahead of the curve.

Within the role you will develop your graduate skills and will be involved with development of state of the art technologies research, bringing together demonstrations and research within the utilities market and the wider impacts in the environment and across industry sectors. The role will focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI), Augmented Reality (AR), Virtual Reality (VR), Internet of Things (IoT) and Systems Integration.

Technology Research and Development Consultant duties will include, but not limited to:

*Undertake market research of current technology themes

*Work collaboratively on concepts, technology experience and implementations with technology partners and customers

*Compiling requirement specifications and investment case planning support of demonstrator proposals

*Develop content and briefing materials to demonstrate the technology value and capabilities to the market

*Work with system developers to create POC, prototypes and MVP Design, build and field-testing for growth and innovation by designing systems

*Supporting the development, deployments and extend solutions that involve both hardware and software into the lab environment

As the Technology Research and Development Consultant you will be required to possess:

*Educated to Degree level - Information Systems Management, or Computer Science or Electronics

*Experience with market evaluation and written/verbal research into technology themes

*Technology roadmap planning experience

*Awareness of object oriented programming principles, design patterns, and software architecture is desirable

*A good understanding of technology in business models and approaches to innovation
