Technical Administrator - Heathrow Airport

A market leading organisation is currently recruiting for a Technical Administrator to take on a permanent positions ASAP. The company is highly regarded for its employee recognition and vital position in today's market place. The position would suit someone who is looking for a change in career direction moving from an on the tools positon in to an office based environment.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure that all regulatory and project activities are planned and co-ordinated to allow works to proceed in a safe manor to drive the Company's commitment to "Everyone going home safe every day"

The main responsibilities of the role is as follows:

* Ensure all materials are available and check for shortages prior to be delivered to site.

* To liaise with stores Personnel to check on availability of parts

* To check off parts against purchase order and report any shortages

* Keep records of materials delivered to site and location

* Maintain department work boards and ensure all relevant documentation is available to site team

* Ensure all maximo orders and SI are completed and closed off with in the maximo schedule

* Ensure all company vehicle are clean and in a fit for use

* Ensure that all personnel on site accept their responsibilities under the Company Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and ensure that all accidents / incidents / near misses are reported and subsequent learning's are implemented.

* To prepare the site materials delivery and advise the Installation manager and site managers on current progress of works highlighting any material shortages. .

* Ensure that permits and documents required for work are planned ahead of requirements to allow supervisors to prepare for commencement of works. Ensure the PM is advised of any delay.

* To provide feedback on the progress of site activities to the Installation Manager and the Project Manager through regular reports and exception reports.

* Work with supervisors to prepare work list / job sheets.

* Work with supervisors and suppliers to drive progress and report issues.

* Be part of the Team.

* Perform other duties as considered appropriate by the Regulatory manager.

The successful candidate will display the following skills, experience and qualifications:

* NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Engineering

* Hold a full current driving licence

* Good knowledge of MS Office products

* Good interpersonal skills

* Able to work on own initiatives with defined guidelines

* Good communication skills

* Good organisational skills

* IT literate
