Technical Sales - Semiconductor Equipment (home based)

My client is a distributor of semiconductor and PCB assembly equipment, who partner with a number of large vendors to 'cover' the UK, Ireland and Scandinavia on their behalf. They're currently looking for a Technical Sales Manager who has experience selling high value capital equipment in to semiconductor fabs/ research institutions, and ideally someone who has previously occupied a Service/ Maintenance/ Process/ Applications Engineer function.

This is a home based position with frequent travel to customers, both domestically and overseas. The successful candidate will need:

* A technical degree (in electronics/ mechanical engineering, a science (physics, chemistry), or similar)

* Experience working 'hands on' with semiconductor or PCBA process equipment

* A proven track record in sales (ideally) - although they will consider training an engineer

* A home office anywhere in between London and Manchester, to offer proximity to busy customer hubs

* A willingness to travel

This is a small company who still operate on a 'profit share' basis - so everyone has a vested interest in collaborating and ensuring every year is a success.
