.NET CORE & Web API Developer - Contract - 3 months - Reading

Nigel Frank International are looking for an experienced .NET Web Developer with significant API development experience, to join a client based in Reading for a initial 3 monmth contract. This client is very active within the growing Blockchain community and is offering exposure to a number of bleeding edge technologies that are shaping the decentralised space.

Skills & Experience:

* Proficient in C#

* Extensive exposure to the .NET Framework (ideally Core 2.0)

* Heavyweight experience with API development and integration

* SQL Server 2012+ and understands how to write performant SQL

* Experience with MySQL database design, data management and reporting and writing performant queries

* Extensive Javascript

* Excellent communication skills and ability to build a good rapport with colleagues

Desirable Skills/Experience:

* Experience intergrating NodeJs with the .NET platform

* Experience with MySQL database design, data management and reporting and writing performant queries

* Test Driven Development

* .NET Core 2.0

Key Responsibilities include:

* To build and deliver robust and innovative software solutions that are fit for purpose

* To analyse business requirements, internal designs and system requirements

* To contribute to the technical design process

* To write code that is clean and meets in-house coding standards

* Contribute to strategy through suggesting new technologies and processes

* To apply best practices to all aspects of development
