Technical Configuration Engineer - SC Cleared, Engineering Change Management, NSoIT(D), CM RAIDO

We are looking for an Technical Configuration Engineer to join our team of consultants at Experis. The Engineering TCE will report to Head Engineering Planning, Co-ordination and Support providing advice and guidance to the Project Management and Engineering Management Teams on Configuration Management matters for the Solution Design (High, Intermediate and Low level designs), Infrastructure and Environment. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

* All Configuration Management activities.

* Own and manage the NSoIT(D) CM Plan and place the current Project solution under Configuration Management control by generating a complimentary Project CM Model, Plan, Repository and Measurements.

* Integrate Configuration Management activities into the Engineering Change Management processes

* Provide quality control for Build and Configuration documentation

* Manage the CMDB for NSoIT(D) installations across all domains

* Support Development activity so artefacts are controlled and made available for inclusion in the ProjectEngineering life-cycle as required.

* Ensure the CM environment facilitates product review, and change and defect tracking activities.

* Be responsible for reporting progress statistics based on change requests.

* Manage the administration of CM RAIDO

* Be capable of managing a small team to deliver the above services

Immediate tasks:

* Capture Project CIs into an appropriate CI/CM Model (Data Terminating, Data Connecting, Firmware/Software) that represent the Queen Elizabeth and Prince of Wales Carrier Platforms.

* Place Corsham Ark (CARK) under proper Config and CM Control ensuring implementation matches Solution Design, identifying differences and discrepancies.

* Ensure project reference environment such as PTP builds mirror CARK

* Ensure adjustments or modifications created within reference environments are appropriately captured and flowed back to Engineering for assessment and inclusion into the Solution Design as required

* Assess and capture the System Test baseline

* Place the System Test Baseline under CM control

* Capture System Observations

* QEC specific: Under QEC Project Manager's D&G; stand up and administer, a Joint System Sentencing Board (JSSB) to capture System Observations for sentencing and create Project; System Problem Reports (SPRs)
