The company is now seeking a CAD Technician to join their team in Lancaster and play a key role in the development of their product capabilities.

With vast experience within the company, the team are ambitious, talented and able to handle any challenge thrown at them. You will join this incredible team and support design and quality assurance activities to enhance the products that are produced and the services provided to customers.

Your Role:

As a CAD Technician, you will be tasked with supporting the QA/QC Manager in the development of an accurate audit trail during a product’s manufacturing run.

Specifically, you will produce and maintain accurate drawings, ensure compliance and take part in inspections. You will ensure the overall quality of flawed test specimens that are produced by the business.

Your role will also include:

- Producing drawing documentation to customers’ specifications

- Liaising with customers regarding drawing and inspection matters

- Contributing to drawing quality system improvements

- Inspecting products for conformity for technical drawings and recording any changes

- Complying with the company’s quality assurance system which is certified to ISO 9001:2015

- Maintaining accurate data records

About You:

To be considered as a CAD Technician, you will need:

- Experience of 2D and 3D AutoCAD software packages

- An understanding of welding and engineering symbols

- Experience of working with quality management systems

- Experience of checking and compiling reports

Knowledge of the application of relevant quality systems and standards including European Standards and ISO would be beneficial to your application.
