2nd Line Support Technician

Leeds, West Yorkshire

£22,000 - £28,000 DOE Plus Benefits

Our client is a leading provider of retirement solutions for the over 50s. Since 2004 they have been helping current, and soon-to-be, retirees make the most of their finances, enabling them to enjoy their retirement.

Due to our client’s impressive market position and continued success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a 2nd Line Support Technician to join their existing team.

As a 2nd Line Support Technician, you will:

- Provide 2nd line hardware and software support to end users

- Respond to requests in person, via the telephone, through helpdesk software or via email

- Investigate problems and root causes

- Offer advice and guidance to 1st Line Technicians

- Escalate issues when required

- Keep abreast of current business applications and system information, changes and updates

Interested?

To be considered, you’ll need enterprise IT knowledge, including proficiency in some (if not all) of the below:

- Active Directory

- Group Policy

- DHCP

- DNS

- Office 365 including PowerShell

- Virtualisation

- SQL

- TCP/IP networking, including ping/traceroute, and an understanding of the existing of VLANs/subnets

- Phone systems

- SAN

- Microsoft Azure

- Proxy servers

Our client is eager to hear from you if you’ve worked as a 2nd Line Technician, 2nd Line Support Analyst, IT Support Analyst, Infrastructure Support Analyst, IT Support Technician, Technical Support Advisor, Helpdesk Support Engineer or Service Desk Engineer.
