Systems Engineer -. DO178B/C, full development life cycle, real-time embedded systems, test procedure development.

We are looking for a Systems Engineer to join our team of consultants at Experis. Working on-site with one of our clients you will be responsible for:

Responsibilities:

* Requirements generation and management.

* Development of systems verification procedures and completion of verification test activities.

* Core Skills Systems engineering, full development life cycle experience

* Systems requirements definition, management and validation

* Systems integration - real-time embedded systems, hardware/software

* Systems verification - test procedure development, requirements to test traceability, unit based testing

Required skills:

* Be comfortable reading, writing and implementing Low-Level Systems & High-Level Software requirements

* To understand Embedded Software architectures and implementations, and their interfaces to Systems and Hardware

* To understand Hardware architectures and implementations, and their interfaces to Systems level functions and Software design

* Be cognisant of internal (board/board or Processor/Peripheral) and external (unit to unit/network) data bus standards

* Logical and innovate problem solving skills that can span systems/software/hardware

* Software bias and understanding of the Aerospace standard - DO178B/C

Desired skills:

* Aerospace industry domain knowledge

* Will be able to read and interpret schematics

* Able to use an emulator for on chip debugging

* Able to use COTS TE ('scope, bus analysers etc.) in a lab environment

* Happy to work in a reuse environment, making efficiency decisions based on previously developed functions

* DOORS - requirements capture tool

* Sysml - Systems Architecture definition

* Python - development/scripting language

* Salary: £55,000-£60,000
