This is a great opportunity to join this exclusive luxury travel companies global infrastructure operations team based in central London. With a passion for network technology you will be responsible for setting the future design of their network and maintaining their current highly available network infrastructure and security.

As part of the Infrastructure operations team, you will have a knack for digging deep and taking the lead to drive resolution on complex technical issues, incidents and daily challenges. Additionally, you will take ownership on solving technical and security issues within the network layer and providing intelligent, scalable and maintainable solutions across their enterprise class data centre environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

- Global management, maintenance and architecture of LAN / WAN network, storage, virtualised environment, servers & network devices.

- Engineer, implement and monitor security measures for the protection of computer systems, networks and information.

- Develop technical solutions and new security tools to help mitigate security vulnerabilities and automate repeatable tasks.

- Setup monitoring to monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively.

- Test/POC all changes to networks, hardware, software.

- Work with third party vendors and service providers to ensure productive environment.

- Resolve issues and prepare post mortem reports.

- Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications.

- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

REQUIREMENTS

- Strong network routing protocol troubleshooting skills in OSI-layers, TCP/IP, Routing, IPSEC, NAT and SNMP protocols. Wireless networks.

- Hands on experience with network monitoring tools such as Zabbix, Nagios, Rancid etc.

- Problem solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

- Experience running high-end firewalls and switch gear within enterprise networks.

- BS degree in Computer Science or related field or CISCO and Microsoft Qualifications.
