The Role Our client are seeking an experienced System Requirements Engineer / Requirements Manager to support a cross-discipline team in the elicitation of customer requirements and the preparation of requirements compliance matrices for bids and proposals. The candidate will have significant experience of requirements management in DOORS and the compilation of compliance matrices. A working understanding of electronic systems, steering systems, software and controls will be advantageous.
What you'll do
- Support the elicitation and exchange of customer requirements;
- Communicate with internal subsystem teams to support the compilation of compliance matrices;
- Manage and update DOORS requirements database for customer projects;
- Generate and maintain requirements metrics for customer projects;
- Support the decomposition of system requirements;
- Apply and enforce Client requirements management processes;
- Apply and enforce Client requirements change management processes;
What we are looking for:
Essential:
- Significant experience in requirements management using DOORS;
- Understanding of the requirements lifecycle (AUTOSPICE experience preferable);
- Knowledge of a range of engineering disciplines (Software, Electronic and Mechanical systems);
- Demonstrated ability to work proactively;
Desirable:
- Working knowledge of DOORS DxL;
- Working knowledge of DOORS eXchange;
- Knowledge of automotive electronics / electrical systems;
- Experience of requirements management for safety critical systems (ISO 26262);
