Database Developer SQL Server, top technology product company in Dublin.

Great opportunity with this Database Developer role to work as part of a talented Development Tribe. The role requires a Data Developer that is skilled in stored procedure and function development with an emphasis on performance tuning in large data asset environments. You will work closely with a cross-functional team of .NET developers, QA Engineers, UX Designers and Build Engineers.

Responsibilities with this Database Developer :

Coding of new features and components

Enhancement existing features

Performance tuning and optimization

Change requests and bug fixes in the production environment

Database developer skills needed

5 + years of designing and developing databases using Microsoft SQL Server

Excellent Knowledge of indexes, index management and statistics.

Exposure to, and understanding of, high volumes of both data and transactions

Experience in Performance Tuning and Optimization (PTO), using native monitoring and troubleshooting tools.

Advantageous

Experience with Large/Enterprise scale solutions

Experience with SSIS packages development and deployments

Ability to approach problems with a sense of ownership, enthusiasm, and innovation.

Experience with database source control and deployments. EG. SVN,GIT
