My client is looking for an experience Sourcing Coordinator to join their team in Nailsea. The successful candidate will have a background in Sourcing and Analyst positions along with team leadership skills.

Job Description

Role Summary/Purpose

The Sourcing Coordinator demonstrates leadership in communicating Sourcing goals, by analysing and identifying areas of improvement through Sourcing metrics. In this role you will use your experience or expertise to identify issues and support in solving problems to improve OTD cash and revenue. Develop and execute objectives for self and others through sourcing metrics, and affect short-term and long-term Sourcing goals.

Essential Responsibilities:

* Review, analyse, report out and coordinate on Delivery, Deflation YOY & PMR savings, Revenue activities; Quality; Aged Invoice data and Advance payments, identify potential impacts and coordinate issues with sourcing team to mitigate

* Update Daily & Weekly Sourcing Metrics related to aged Reqs, open orders, Non-Conformances, and on time Delivery

* Cooperate and communicate with Project, Manufacturing and Engineering organizations to proactively support and drive team OTD during PO placement as well as PO execution

* Coordinate Vendor Recovery COPQ & Late Delivery (LD) of suppliers and update status to Sourcing leadership

* Ensure compliance with QMS procedures for the area of responsibility

Qualifications / Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma/GED with proven years of experience in a Sourcing role) or equivalent knowledge and experience

* Experience in a Sourcing or Analyst positions

Desired Characteristics:

* Additional experience in Sourcing and writing fulfilment reports using MS Access, SQL or Visual Basic is preferred

* Strong quantitative and analytical skills

* PC and database proficiency

* Strong oral and written communication skills

* Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
