An award winning global Derivative team are seeking a Senior Java Developer to design real-time engines to make critical data available in real time.

As a Senior Java Developer you will work across asset classes such as risk, funding and trade clearing whilst designing and implementing solutions to meet the increase in real-time trading volumes. You will use Java 8 and relevant frameworks such as spring and hibernate to help solve core business problems.

The role is ideal for a senior java developer looking to formulate a long term career path as there is an opportunity to progress to VP within 18 months. There is an opportunity to learn new technologies such as Scala and Hadoop whilst working across an array of asset classes.

Key responsibilities:

Core java development designing real time engines

Develop critical applications which protect the firm from counter risk party

Solve business problems with core java development

Take ownership of the projects

Required Skills:

Java 8 /1.8

Experience in a financial institution

Experience developing in spring and hibernate
