Location: SurreyDuration: 12 month initial contract - extension likely Rate: £330-380 per dayMy client is on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor so I wondered if I might be able to interest you in a new CONTRACT opportunity I have for a Quantity Surveyor based in Surrey.The organisation is looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to come and join their team as a Lead Surveyor. They've only recently started looking and are looking to get someone to join as soon as possible.They currently have a Refurb project going on currently with another £12m one to follow. After this a £15 bank to hotel conversation will be taking place.The role is as follows:- Pricing for newer projects
- Take a handling on existing projects
- Set up/monitor tenders
- Payments to subbies
They are ideally looking for someone with the following background:
- MCN experience (key)
- CSA exp
- CVR exp (reporting etc)
- JCT contract knowledge (D and B ideally) Ideally, they are looking to pay a very competitive day rate to secure the right individual.
They are looking to line up interviews from 13th in the afternoon.
