Scala Developer / Senior Software Developer (Scala Java CI/CD). Senior, hands-on Software Developer sought by market leading FinTech company that provides a highly functional suite of software products to support post-trade processing for clients including most of the financial institutions across the globe.

As a Scala Developer you will work on a greenfield project for a new collateral risk product that is currently in Beta. You will design and develop complex backend functionality using Scala for a web based system that presents complex financial data working across the full development lifecycle as part of an Agile development team.

Requirements:

*Strong serverside development skills with Java as well as commercial Scala experience and a desire to use Scala going forward

*Thorough understanding of Computer Science fundamentals such as Object Orientated Programming, Data Structures, Algorithms

*Good understanding of database structures and performance

*Excellent communication skills
