Senior Infrastructure Engineer - Senior server engineer

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a senior infrastructure engineer within an award winning multi-million-pound technical company that specialises in the provision of a wide range of solutions. Located in Leeds, the company is looking at expanding their team and is now recruiting for an additional experienced senior infrastructure engineer.

Working with a variety of clients that range from SME to Enterprise companies, as a senior infrastructure engineer you will be involved with designing, implementing, and supporting a wide selection of solutions. Responsibilities will include the list below.

* Design, implement and deploy a broad range of infrastructure and cloud solutions

* 3rd line support for Microsoft desktop and server operating systems and applications, storage and VMware

* Attending pre-sales meetings to support any discussions relating to solutions and deployments

* Deployment of applications, virtualisation, server and storage solutions

Requirements

We are looking for an experience infrastructure engineer who has had the following experiences and who has experience of the listed technologies below (not all are essential)

* Microsoft/ Windows server

* VMware and/or Citrix

* SAN/ storage technologies e.g. Dell EqualLogic

* Backup: Veeam/Backup Exec/Zerto

* Office 365

* SCOM, SCCM

* SQL

* Technical support of large, enterprise level environment

* Experience as an infrastructure/ server engineer, 3rd line support engineer

* Scoped, implemented and supported a range of infrastructure technologies in a Windows/ Microsoft environment

* Client facing experience would be beneficial

* Any experience with Cisco networking would be beneficial

It will be essential that all applicants are eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid driving license. Any offers will be subject to passing a DBS, financial and reference checks.
